PRE-MUNICIPAL
Michigan Cities and Counties issued plates for official cars, schools, road commissions, fire departments, police agencies and other city/county agencies for a considerable period of time between the early 1920's until the State began issuing Municipal License Plates that were first issued n 1949, and continue to this day.
These two (2) examples are the only ones that I presently have in my collection.
