The first known issued "sticker/tab" in Oklahoma, was the World War II era 1943 windshield sticker.

Then came the 1947 Oklahoma "metal corner tab" to revalidate the 1946 license plate.

It would be another 33 years before sticker/tabs were issued again, when the 1980 validation sticker for the 1979 base plates were issued.   They have been issued ever since.
