OKLAHOMA PERSONALIZED |
1967: For Ten dollars ($10.00) plus registration fee, Oklahomans could
order a personalized tag to be displayed on their vehicles. These
plates were available to any person in a combination of numbers or
letters from one (1) to a maximum of seven (7). The message on a
personalized plate must always be in “good taste” and cannot be in
conflict with any valid license plate.
It is believed that the actual first issue was in 1968.
