It is believed that the 1977 license plate shown is actually an Oklahoma Half Year Commercial license plate, but it is not known for certain that that is what it is.
It is not known when this type of license plate was first issued.
The ALPCA Archives for Oklahoma makes no mention of an Oklahoma Half Year Commercial license plate.
Nor does the "History Of Oklahoma License Plates" on the Internet mention them.
