These plates have been issued since at least the 1976 "Centennial" base, through the 1979 "White on Black" base and into the 1984 "White on Blue" base. Have not seen them on the new "Blue Bar" base issued in 2007.
They were issued for use on Farm vehicles that DID NOT use Michigan roads.
